Melbourne recently topped the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) survey of 130 cities. Long time rival, Sydney came in equal sixth place along with the next two largest Australian cities of Brisbane and Adelaide. Perth in Western Australia scored marginally better in fourth place.
